1965 huntley & palmer westminster abbey biscuit tin
A super condition Huntley and Palmer collectable biscuit tin from 1965.
This is one of a number of tins produced in the 1960's to appeal to the tourist market.
It has a picture of Westminster Abbey on the lid and around the sides are regal pictorial images such as the coat of arms for Henry II,Edward I, James I and George III.
In addition, there is a scene from the War of the Roses, swords, the coronation chair, Edward the Confessor, sceptres etc.
All in all a history lesson in Royality.
The tun has a couple of minor scratches on the lid, but generally is in excellent condition and still has the inner card liner and the paper contents sticker on the underside of the tin..
